We were hired for design, while the building structure assembly was just started and due to project deadline, the client request from our firm was limited to interior spaces and exterior façades design   Therefore, our suggestion to re-design and re-apply for building permit with new design was not accepted.   Ultimately, we had the chance to convince the City and client to let our office to design the building with the condition of getting fire codes approval for new design and to keep the approved structure, total GFA, floors and building envelope in new design.
