This tower was done in my 4th semester of Graduate Study at NJIT.  The structural system was worked out with the aide of structural engineers, and the building developed around this system.

The system is commonly called "Tensegrity" coined by Buckminster Fuller in the 70s. This design pushes what he poineered to a new level, and examines what a building might look like if it was developed around, and to celebrate its structural system.
