For a studio class, we were required to create a department store in Los Angeles, CA. It was an existing space and we were given a list of required departments and square footage for each space. It was also catering to a higher-end clientele. My design solution was a Modern Baroque inspired space designed around a grand central aisle. Each department was distinguished by ceiling changes and the use of different wall treatments and furniture selections.
