The site was a location of previous mountain top removal, which allowed for a flat landscapes throughout the site and hillside locations around the perimeter. The site was a location for both faculty and student housing, therefore we looked to provide both community based homes for students, and private residences for faculty.

HBEER "The Slip"- Graduate Studio

Working with the Houseboat industry to design multifamily, energy efficient, modular homes that function on one dollar a day and cost 100,000 dollars.

With a 16 foot maximum shipping width, we developed a 'slip' in order to create more open spaces, and focused on creating diagnol views in order to make rooms seem larger than they were.

In order to open up the floor plan, we created storage walls along the exterior walls for cabinetry, closests, and even the HVAC
