Rialto California is a growing community. In order to meet the rising educational needs of the community and provide a competitive academic base to all students the Rialto Unified School District is expanding. A key to the expansion at the Middle School level is the addition of not only classroom buildings but also science labs to better equip students for learning beyond the K-12 grade levels. The Science Building Addition at Rialto Middle School was constructed to meet these exact needs.
The New Science Building includes 2 science labs with prep rooms and 4 flexible classrooms. The science labs include built-in desks with epoxy resin countertops and are outfitted with gas cocks, rod sockets, GFI AC duplex electrical receptacles, and book compartments for each student. The prep rooms include built-in casework with epoxy resin countertops and fume hoods. The flex classrooms include built-in teaching walls and computer stations with plastic laminate counter tops.
