Through the use of planar walls, these houses shield their occupancy from the road while focusing their views on the beautiful countryside. The upper house seeks to integrate the beautiful scenery into everyday life by focusing the public space towards the forested hilltop. The lower house is lifted a full story off the ground which combined with having a large terrace as the central focus of the design takes full advantage of the valley below.
