Situated on the banks of Crisul Alb river, in a splendid rural area not far from the cities of Arad, Oradea and Timisoara, the Holcim Awards proposal is located on a stone extraction site planned for future closure. The ecological rehabilitation is meant to be started with the excavation works still running, followed, after closure, by the development of the touristic facilities.

The ecotourism centre consists of a pedestrian ring alley, 18 semi-autonomous lodging units with a capacity of 90 beds, an open air amphitheatre, panoramic terraces, 3 floating pontoons housing shared activities, and parking facilities.
