In my senior year at Pratt Institute, I studied the effects of informational graphics in public assembly. I attempted to discover how the manipulation of form, surface, and light could convey information and create an experience. I especially was interested in how pedestrian involvement in wayfinding techniques could enrich the environment and create an ongoing dialogue between past, present, and future inhabitants. To this end, graffiti and manipulation of surface via light was a focus.
