Thesis Statement:

This thesis project will take a look at different types of cars like the BMW G.I.N.A prototype car and the i8 Concept Hybrid car. There will be an investigation in how the design and way of construction of these cars can be used to influence the design of a building to create flexible spaces. Special emphasis will be put on airflow and how it can be used for natural ventilation in a building.
The Program will consist of spaces that are transformable and can be easily converted to serve different functions and purposes when required. The base program will contain a research facility, showroom, delivery center, classrooms, and garages used to develop and produce the next generation of electric powered cars.
The selected site for this thesis project is right next to the existing BMW Factory and Performance center in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
