Urban Build is a intense program at Tulane University in which a group of students submit design proposals, in paired groups, with the resulting ‘winning’ designgetting revised and built. Designed as prototypical New Orleans housing, Urban Build houses reside in the Katrina-ravaged lower-ninth ward, and serve as a beacon of hope in rebuilding the city of New Orleans.
