This project began with a master facility plan of how the hospital could effectively grow. Of particular concern was the problem of semi-private rooms that needed to be converted to privates as well as existing private rooms that were too small to work. Of course, parking was inadequate and the site was rolling.

The solution entailed a new parking structure seperate from employee parking, a new bed tower of all private same-handed rooms and a new ED, Cardiac departments and an expanded Imaging and OB department.
