AZ sprang onto New York City’s Restaurant  scene in 1999. Garnering 3 Stars from the NY Times William Grimes for the creativity of Chef Patricia Yeo, and complimenting interior. AZ is an Asian inspired restaurant with three floors: Lounge (First Floor), Private Dining (Second Floor) and Main Dining (Third Floor). The floors are united by the three story waterfall that  backs the glass elevator. The Main Dining is crowned with a retractable glass roof. Mimicking the balance of eastern philosophy the four elements of water, air, earth and metal are all represented and fused to create a unique dining experience in Chelsea.
