The name of the house is “Soaring Wings” Hillside House. This house was a school project that had to be designed on a given site with the existing topography. All of the existing trees on the hill had to be kept and the complex had to be built around so it would not interfere with the trees. The house also had to be accessible by a person on a wheel chair only through ramps on the main rooms of the house. All other rooms and areas could be accessed through elevator or other mechanical equipment.  The main concept of this house was to create a design with the elements of boomerangs and wings to satisfy and meet the desire of the client since it had to be made for an aerodynamics engineer.
