The prototype drizzlecrete does not reinvent concrete, but rather takes advantage of the material's properties.

It is created by drizzling gypcrete [a mixture of gypsum and cement] in its plastic state, just before hardening. The voids generated allow for a distinct quality of light to come through, and its unique open weave produces playful shadows.
