Caldas da Rainha is a city with strong artistic traditions due to the many ceramic factories that exist there as well as an Arts University.
This building is located in the historic city center where we can find many other historic buildings.
This build has approximately 150 years and it is structured in stone and brick. It has an enormous height.
In the beginning this building was used as the hospital’s laundry but now  has no specific function.
Throughout the city it is possible to find several art marks, so we decided to convert this building into an Arts Center, linking interior and exterior and creating moments of pause and motion ever attached through art.
