The project consisted in moving the model of imperial Rome, actually located in the Museum of Roman Civilization (Rome), to give it a different role, a bigger relevance.

The scale model is placed into the Basilica di Massenzio (situated into Rome's monumental center), and positioned upside down, to give the audience the chance to contemplate it like in a planetarium, being seated right below it.

The acces to the terraces is through a ramp where Rome hystory is explained through expositive panels.
