I made a router cabinet for my shop:
The frame and drawers are maple, and the handles are made with aluminum, mahogany and maple. The top is Corian with T-tracks for fixture attachments. This project gave me the opportunity to study drawer construction, and fitment within the case, and I used shellac on the drawers and poly on the case to see how the finishes age over time. The cabinet features locking wheels, dust collection, LED lighting inside the router housing, a side lever that will pop the router plate up for easy top access, a hinged top for better underside access, and also comes with a pin-arm router attachment.
