With sustainability in mind, this student housing project in new jersey has a phenomenal view and waterfront location that was implemented into the design process. As part of the end goal of achieving LEED certification, applicable strategies such as passive shading strategies, water conservation and storm water filtration systems were proposed. With the individual living quarters oriented towards the exterior and angled, natural daylight is maximized while the percentage of units with prime view increased as well.
