Vacation eco-village

A proposal for a vacation village with the ambition to help set the tone or  non-intrusive communication with the surroundings. Self sufficient in terms of energy use, heating and cooling and water treatment.
The design will employ well known technologies of solar heating and cooling, “of the shelve” products and local labor in a integrated approach to the challenge of global warming at a regional level.

Major point is opening the south facade not only for the reason of passive heating but also giving equal view south toward the mountains.
The living spaces in the units are developed in vertical, again, preserving the view and acting as a nature "chimney" for cooling in the summer and "capturing " the warm air in the winter.
