This 1920s Mckim Mead and White building underwent an extensive
and much needed restoration. The reconfigured multipurpose space
includes a bar/lounge for faculty events, meeting rooms, a servery
and cafeteria, a banquet space, and a rooftop restaurant. Warm, rich
sustainable materials and finishes were selected to complement the
original details being preserved, maintaining the sense of timeless grace
and elegance envisioned by the original architects. The project was
awarded LEED Gold certification, and is believed to be the first Mckim
Mead and White building to achieve this status.
