Studio project for the USC School of Architecture-sponsored study abroad program in Asia, which included trips to Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe, Beijing, Dunhuang, Shanghai, Suzhou, Xi'An, Hong Kong, Hanoi, Hoi An, Saigon, Siem Reap, Loei, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, and Singapore. The project paired each USC student with a student from University Malaya in a 6-week design charette of a school rehabilitation in Loei, Thailand. The project employs vernacular design using local materials and modular construction methods.
