Research Goals: The project investigates alternative scenarios for spatial reorganization of urban regions, thereby upgrading the development of rural areas, smaller towns and integrating them with each other and with the higher level cities such as the mega-city Bangalore.
As research is ongoing, this case study identifies the merits/ demerits in the present and proposed planning process; land use, infrastructure, economic activities based on the present and future requirements.
