The goal was to create a pavilion with two key spatial elements: a space for gathering and a space for reflection.  The goal of my work was to show the two spaces pushing and pulling on one another as though they were separated by an undulating membrane.   The steps are the space for gathering and the upper observation area is the space for reflection.  The final design came about through abstract modeling exercises.
