One of the unique qualities of this two-stility building is its wedge-shaped site that is 500 feet long and only 125 feet at the widest dimension, The roof is unusual as well. Due to the zonning contrast and the flexibility to allow for automobile stacking on the top-floor garage, there is a low perimeter roof and a separate, central, higher roof. The Dyckman Center, designed to accommodate the New York City Agency of Human Resources, is located at the Northen tip of Manhattan Island.
