The design was intended for a writer seeking a place to relax. It has various places for one to read and write allowing for them to continue being influenced and motivated, but in a more peaceful environment.

The concept was based on a solid deteriorating as it reaches the beach creating a tunnel effect within the building. Similar to pages from a book, as they begin to unfold. This allows for light to reach specific places, but keeping more intimate rooms enclosed for privacy.
