Growing up in what is known as “paradise”, Hawai’i has been my home for most of my life so far, allowing me to be surrounded with the art of nature; waves, palm trees, sunsets, shorelines, mountains, valleys, and so much more. While home is the greatest influence in my designs, this furniture piece was created to reflect organic, moving forms. This piece is easily identified to have characteristics of flowing waterfalls, leaning palm trees as well having the thickness and edge of a smoothly shaped surfboard. My two-piece console table symbolizes my love for asymmetry as well as my zodiac sign of the twins, Gemini.

Building this console table has given me a whole new perspective and appreciation for the art of handcraft but most importantly, my own two hands.
