The Dinamo Sports Club's Building, a
modest, characteristic example of 1930's
Soviet architecture, which holds an
important place in the memory of Baku. In
restoring the former building, the original
shell and structure have been preserved.
The mass/void ratios pay tribute to the
original architecture of the period:
maintain the continuity of visual memory,
and cater to the needs of the building's
new function as a hotel.
