This work is the result of my final year dissertation, which focused on the notion of making a center in a city, with a particular focus on shopping malls as a focal point in the urban environment. This study led me to my diploma project, in which I imagined a market that brings local residents together, with a central space that opens onto the public area.The project’s challenge was to create a real focal point and connection within the neighborhood.
