This project aims to provide targeted design
solutions to alleviate the issues of "wildfire"
and "loss of languages."
In Australia, wildfires are frequent due to
high temperatures, causing many people
to lose their homes each year, while many
animals perish in the fires. Among those
affected are numerous Indigenous Australian
tribes who, without modern technology,
continue to live in traditional ways. These
tribes often have their unique languages,
making the preservation of their languages
particularly important.
The YIRRGANYDJI Aboriginal Tribe is one
such Indigenous group in Australia. However,
this tribe lacks effective strategies to cope
with wildfires and is forced to relocate
frequently. Each year, Indigenous people
lose their lives in these fires, further reducing
the number of speakers of their language.
Therefore, this project aims to design a
reasonable system to provide them with
stable and safe living conditions while also
protecting and promoting their Indigenous
language.
