Slum Redevelopment Project

Project Description: As part of a multidisciplinary team, I played a key role in the redevelopment of a major urban slum, focusing on creating sustainable and livable communities for underprivileged populations. The project involved the transformation of densely populated, poorly constructed slum areas into modern, well-planned neighborhoods, incorporating residential, commercial, and community spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Urban Planning & Design: Developed comprehensive site plans that maximized space utilization while ensuring adequate access to essential amenities, green spaces, and transportation links.
• Community Engagement: Collaborated with local stakeholders, including residents and community leaders, to understand their needs and integrate their feedback into the design process.
• Sustainable Solutions: Implemented eco-friendly design strategies such as rainwater harvesting, energy-efficient buildings, and waste management systems to promote sustainability.
• Project Coordination: Worked closely with engineers, contractors, and government authorities to ensure the project met regulatory standards and was completed on time and within budget.
• Construction Documentation: Produced detailed architectural drawings and construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy and clarity for on-site execution.
