Formulated a conceptual design for the preservation and celebration of Assyrian and Mesopotamian artifacts in a region where indigenous cultural heritage is often under threat. The design pulled from classic ancient forms as well as modern vernacular architecture. An emphasis was placed on allowing light to illuminate the interior without overheating the space. Ample usage of sheltered terraces with local foliage was paramount to adding cooling elements to the space.
