A renovation to a commercial office space in Vancouver’s historic Lee Building. Designed as the studio space for D’Arcy Jones Architects, the central focus is the communal desk shared by the studio members surrounded by a crisp white shell allowing for a clean backdrop that contrasts with the exposed raw structure of the building. The space was carefully stripped back to its core, with new sculpted white drywall inserted within to hide existing plumbing stacks and bounce natural light deep into the space.
