Intertribal Council on Utility Policy Low Energy Housing 2004-2006

This is a model design for the ICOUP Native American NGO for near Passivhaus standard, low cost, handicapped accessible housing. This is one of four model housing designs, construction in strawbale walls and designed to withstand heavy winds, severe cold in winter and in congruence with the Great Plains tribal cultural life-ways of the home.
