Grandiose grains
The Grão das Gerais Park requires investments from the private sector and
public. Approximately 58 thousand square meters of Parque Mogiana will be

restructured to receive two sports courts, an amphitheater with
green floor, playground, bike path, living spaces, barbecue grills,
parking and large green areas, including two wet squares. O
The project for the implementation of the new park was developed so that all
paths leading to the central area, where the main building is located. Still
there will be integration with the Agenor district of Lima, through a large
ramp.
"The park has been redesigned on the basis of
inspired by the coffee mountains of the South of Minas Gerais. New spaces
have been created so that the population can make the most of
all that the park can offer, "says the author, who considered the lack of
attractions on site. "An urban intervention can have an impact on
positive on the spot, "adds Mario Marcos, who currently lives and works
in Sao Paulo.
With the guidance of Jorge Villar, coordinator of the Architecture and
Urbanization of PUC Poços de Caldas, were considered concepts
such as water reuse and photovoltaic posts. The attractions
begin at the two corners of Parque Mogiana, where it is planned to
the creation of squares with monuments, where the design refers to the grain of the
coffee. Of small grain the project has little. It's all great.
