As a partnership with "The Peace Project", these core shelters were built in response to the devastation following Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.  The materials were donated and shipped to Bantayan Island where they were assembled by a crew of 10 local volunteers.  I designed the buildings, and managed the project from start to finish.  One of these homes can be constructed in 3 hours.  40 of them were built over 1 month.  Completion date: November 8th 2014 (1 year anniversary of Haiyan).
