With the Principal of Ergo Archirecture,Steve Mayman, this detached garage was built next to an existing bungalow. As acting Owner/Architect, Mayman and I started with the foundation and moved through the entire construction process. The entire project emphasized unique building techniques and construction details. Fiber-cement siding, CMU and wood-stud walls, eastern construction balloon framing, large wooden doors at entry, aluminum and galvanized steel details, aluminum corner windows.
