Based on the concept of sound, 1087 is a concert hall that uses a sensory experience to illuminate the performing artist’s work. It gets its title from the feet per minute that sound travels at. The concept of sounds is emphasised though the use of the patterned terrazzo floor that spills out onto the sidewalk and the waves throughout the floorplan.
