Project Architect
My role in this multi-phase, multiple prime contract Police, Public Works and Township Administration building spanned the entire project. I was involved in every client meeting throughout the project and participated in the Programming, Conceptual and Schematic Design Phases, which were all conducted as workshops with the Township. I worked closely with the firm principal on the design and participated in producing rendered drawings for the client presentations. I managed firm staff and coordinated with consultants throughout the Design Development and Construction Documentation. I was responsible for researching products and materials used and writing/editing the project specification. I attended all of the project’s construction meetings and participated in extensive on-site observation during the project. I reviewed all of the Submittals and Shop Drawings for compliance with the Contract Documents and participated in review of each of the Contractor’s Application for Payment. I participated in the on-site observation/documentation and production of the project punch-lists. I reviewed and turned over the Contract Closeout Documents, including O&M Manuals and As-Built Documents.
