Good interior design is judged by its function, aesthetics, comfort and pleasure. Presently, good
interior design has to also follow ecological  principles. Educated customers today are acutely
aware of the issues of indoor air quality and health. They also want to feel good about the
environment and about themselves. Most leading designers, however, eschew environmental
concerns. They claim that there are no products on the market that fulfill both aesthetic and
environmental needs. This is a research project in search to serve both.
