I graduated in May, 2014 from School of Architecture Design and Planning at the University of Kansas with a Master of Architecture Degree (Five-Year M.Arch I Program).
I had been working as a Junior Architect in HARRIS Le ROY ARCHITECTURE P.C. (Hudson River Studios) from Aug, 2014 to July, 2015. I was a member of project team for Landmark Townhouse at Upper East Side, NY. I assisted in preparation of architectural plans, sections, and scale drawing of details for construction of the building. I also performed sketches and constructed 3D model for presenting design ideas. In addition, I assisted in producing the set of drawings for Building Department Filing.
Formerly, I had my internship in AS Architecture Studio in Paris, France in 2014 Spring. Where I assisted to accomplish two projects, namely Housing Competition located in Saint-Denis, La Réunion and Seddiqi & Sons Headquarters located in Dubai. My main responsibilities include constructing 3D models in Rhino and AutoCAD drawings, producing design diagrams and collecting information for final presentation. Apart from this, I also worked in APEC Architecture Firm located in Hangzhou, China since May, 2012. I assisted with the schematic design of City Complex in Longyan, China. My main responsibilities include constructing 3D models in SketchUp and AutoCAD drawings, collecting information and designing booklet for presentation. My great performance contributed to the successful bid of our project.
Academically, my career at University of Kansas has provided outstanding training in large-scale community and an integrative approach to design. My capabilities with digital design include Rhinoceros, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3dsMax, and Adobe Creative Suite.
I believe my working experiences in among U.S., France and China have enabled me to become a great player in a design team with diversified culture background. Especially, the experience in China has qualified me to have deep understanding regarding Chinese Building Regulation. Therefore, I am confident that I have the required knowledge to dedicate to your company’s potential projects in China or other places.
