Taiwo studied Environmental Design at the University of Lagos and has a Master's Degree in Environmental Design in Architecture from the same university. Taiwo has developed a particular expertise in urban regeneration, sustainable design brand architecture and lifestyle design.
Taiwo is the Managing Partner of B+TIC - a leading multidisciplinary architectural practice and real estate development company. He has worked with global brands such as Daimler Chrysler - in translating their brands within a regional African context.
B+TIC are the architects behind some iconic additions to the skyline of Lagos and Abuja - such as Ceddi Plaza, the first integrated retail and commercial development in Abuja, NLNG Headquarters, Lagos - as well as the Mercedes Benz Business Park in Lekki, Lagos.
B+TIC are the Master Plan developers and co-promoters of a consortium which includes a Global Fortune 500 Chinese conglomerate, which are preferred bidders for the concession management of the National Theatre, Lagos via the privatization process of the BPE.
He consulted with the contractors of the Shanghai World Expo on the development of the African Pavillion and has been a featured panelist at international urban development organization such as INTA - as well as the Creativity and the City Conference in Amsterdam. He is recognized internationally for his expertise in issues relating to urban planning and infrastructure development in Africa.
