I am a friendly, loyal and clearly dedicated individual who has an ambition to succeed in any given environment. I am currently an architect student in Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. However, at the moment I am studying architecture abroad in Florence, Italy. The program is part of the California State University system. I love to learn, and I am always up to a challenge whatever the situation. I get along well with others, but can also work very efficiently on my own. I am seeking an architectural internship that will allow me to work full time for the summer of 2014 from June 9th to September 12th (dates can be adjusted a bit). In this position I wish to further develop and excel my skills in design and construction while giving my best to my employer.

Reason for leaving: To continue my education. I began my study abroad program in Europe.

Job Title 1: Sales personal in the lumber and construction department. I helped customers make responsible construction decisions, and directed them to the correct construction supplies. My first month in that department I was given a Homer Award in my department.

Job Title: I drove a forklift to move product in and out of the warehouse.
Reason for leaving: Laid off, this job was a seasonal job. I was perfect for me at the time because I was transitioning to becoming a full time college student.

Job Title 1: Fork Lift Driver, I unloaded and loaded trucks with a forklift. I also filled up silos with walnuts where the product was later gassed to kill off unwanted critters.
Job Title 2: Machine Operator/Breaker, I was in charge of a series of machines that cracked, sized, and process walnuts.
Accomplishments: While working here I was offered the night shift supervisor position, second in charge, for the entire plant. This position required a high level of responsibility and coordination. However, I decline because I already had plans to begin school in the near future

Job Title 1: Scalar. I was a lead in charge of five other that were packing product. I was responsible for making sure everyone under me got their required breaks, lunch, and the product was correctly labeled and ready to ship out.
Job Title 2: Milk Receiver. I tested the quality of raw milk prior to receiving it, and tested it for safe amounts of antibiotics for safe human consumption. I also washed tankers and milk silos with required acids according to safety requirements.
Job Title 3: Cook/Cheese Maker. I received milk from the pasteurizer to begin the cheese making process. This job title was only offered to individuals with a very good reputation within the company because a mistake in this process of making the cheese could cause the company thousands.
Reason for Leaving: Laid off because company went bankrupt.

Job Title: Laborer. I performed a lot of heavy labor work. I also took estimates from clients for future job sites, and set the form-work to pour concrete. Other than being physically fit to perform the required heavy labor work I became a very useful employee because I am a very fast learner, and my ability to speak two languages enabled me to get future jobs that my boss would have not acquired without my help.
Reason for Leaving: Found a job with more hours and better pay
