Kiran is an interior architect with versatile interests in residential, commercial and hospitality design. At this point he is looking to bag some real-world experience before he ventures into the field full-time in a couple of months. He is passionate about designing spaces which can evoke feelings and stimulate the emotional side of the end user.
Kiran design’s his projects under his personal brand label ION form & design. To date he has designed three projects (in academic environment) ranging from 4K - 40K sq ft covering residential, commercial and mixed use. Right now he is also working on a 4K sq ft home being built for a client in India.
Given a design challenge, he has the ability to visualize the end product and can reverse imagineer to bring his ideas to life. With his mathematical inclination and tech-savvy attitude, he is very versatile in designing and communicating his ideas and intent through 3D models, drawings using latest technologies. He is an avid Autodesk Revit user and a BIM advocate with skills in generating 3D models, renderings, details, documents, specifications, quantification, cost estimation and clash detection on Autodesk Navisworks.
Kiran is currently pursuing a Masters in Interior Architecture from Cal Poly Pomona/ UCLA Extension and a member of ASID, UCLA Chapter. He also has a previous background in Biochemical Engineering and has a graduate degree from UCI. As a person, Kiran is very friendly, social and respectful to all. In his time away from work Kiran likes to socialize, be active, outdoors or bake to help him unwind after a hectic schedule.
