About 

I am a licensed Architect practicing in Hoboken, New Jersey.  Most of my projects are local residential projects in Hoboken, Jersey City, Union City, and Weehawken .  I have also done a few restaurants in Hoboken, and Jersey City.   I am licensed in New Jersey and New York, and I use Autocad, Sketchup, Podium.

I am currently working remotely at Beneli and in the past 8 months I have worked on and completed:
An extension and renovation of a Laboratory facility in Totowa, NJ.
Smaller residential projects in both Palisades Park, and Forest Hills NY., basement, residential, and commercial kitchen renovations.
A proposal of a new church in Alpine, and an alteration to a church in Bogota NJ.
Also, the renovation to a residence in Brooklyn NY.

The following is an overview of my professional accomplishments for the year 2010 - Present:

Responsible for all phases of the projects from programming, schematic design, through construction documents. I was also responsible for agreements, billing, and onsite meetings with prospective clients.

Designed a 19 residential unit and 1 commercial space 18,192 SF Building in Union City. New Construction.

Completed one, two, three, and four family house renovations in Union City, Weehawken, Hoboken, and Jersey City. As principal Architect, I met with clients, formed agreements, and led them through schematic design to construction documents using Sketch Up and Podium to assist in the design process, and AutoCADLt 2015 . I coordinated the Mechanical, Electric, Plumbing, and Structural engineer’s drawings on all projects. I designed using the IBC, IRC, and Uniform Construction Code for NJ. for all projects. I met with the Building Department for plan reviews and revisions for the issuance of building Permits. I met with the board and submitted drawings for the certificate of appropriateness for projects in Historic Districts in both Hoboken and Jersey City.

I was the Architect for The School of Rock in Hoboken, NJ. I met with the owners, Building Dept., and Contractors to coordinate the project.

I have done condominium renovations, lofts, a tea shop and juice shop, restaurants, roof and rear yard decks. I also designed a concept store for a local organic food store in Hoboken for possible franchises using Sketch up.

LAURENCE E. PARISI ARCHITECT, North Bergen, NJ, US, Project Architect

Made changes for a Building Department resubmission of a residential mid-rise, a 40 unit project, located in Union City. My responsibilities were to check for ADA and Code requirements. I also worked with the structural engineer on the project. Aside from that project I also worked on schematic design drawings for renovations to the schools in the Ft. Lee district as well as a few local small residential projects.

May 2007 - May 2008
 

MIKESELL & ASSOCIATES, Newark, NJ, US, Architect

I worked on the construction drawings for a project called Lincoln Park in Newark, N.J., which was a 7 unit residential buildings with 6 townhouses. I also worked on the site drawings for a subdivision called Seabury Ave in Newark, N.J. The project included prefab homes.
I was responsible for smaller projects such as a Dunkin' Donuts site plan and changes to the floor plans, and the furniture layout for two floors of a government building in Newark, N.J.

I completed my B.ARch in 1991 at NJIT and I also studied abroad at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow Scotland, and in Rome in 1988. I also completed the Pratt Institute International Summer Studio in 1990.
