I love the process of architecture. Coming from a sculpture background, I use study models quite often, and I’m always exploring new ways to model my ideas. I am very passionate about materials, and feel that materials should be expressed in the design rather than be covered up. Experimenting with the latest techniques and materials make architecture a constant learning process. I can’t imagine this discovery process ever getting old! I strive to learn something new on each project, and find that through collaboration with others the possibilities are endless.

Worked with project managers on all project phases. Assisted in production of design development drawings, construction documents, code research, & specifications, as well as graphic design for proposals and presentations. Approximately 2,500 IDP hours. Clients included: Campbell University, Junior League of Raleigh, First Citizens Bank, Wake County Public School System, RBC Center, & NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine.
It was at Small Kane that I realized my true passion for architecture and ultimately decided to return to school to pursue my Master’s Degree in Architecture. I currently have approximately 2,500 IDP hours completed.
