My current endeavors include job hunting for full time, entry level employment opportunities with potential landscape architecture firms. I have experience in both private and public sectors, and I am looking to relocate for work starting in May 2014.

Research focused on the implementation of ICP's (Interlocking Concrete Pavements) and PICP's (Permeable Interlocking Concrete Pavements) within the landscape architecture industry. Creation and continual development of as an online resource for ICP's.

Design Intern working solo on The Gateway Corridor Project for the town of Cornelia, GA. Duties included creating a master plan, rails-to-trails multi-use pathway, and signage for the corridor’s three major highway entrances into downtown Cornelia.

I was one of three landscape designers/architects on staff whose business clientele was predominately high-end residential in the greater Raleigh, NC area. My duties included, but were not limited to, management, client consultation, irrigation and outdoor lighting specs., residential design work, and working alongside a North Carolina licensed landscape architect for commercial property design.

Served as a horticultural assistant whose duties focused on furthering the advancement of ornamental, tablestock, and biofuel research revolved around sweetpotato plant varieties (Ipomoea batatas (L.) Lam.).

Particular areas included: research in disease and insect resistant tablestock varieties, cross-pollination, tissue culture, plant grafting, and other basic plant breeding responsibilities.
