About

I'm an architect with 15 years experience with great project management skills.  I've worked on a variety of project types, sizes and complexities - from interiors to shell architecture to residential.  I am comfortable navigating projects through permitting requirements and am able to grasp and adjust to a variety of jurisdictional land use and design approval processes. I am especially adept at understanding technical issues of design and the phases of construction.

I also have an MBA degree. It is my goal to provide great design based on my client's business goals. I am able to understand the financial drivers behind construction and use it as a guide to create a strategy for my projects. From a manager standpoint, I have experience in creating manpower projections, monitoring project profitability and schedule, and writing contracts and additional service requests.  I have done take-offs and estimating to review contractor bids, pricing and change orders and developed spreadsheets to assist in these tasks.  I also use MS Project in creating schedules and planning workflow.

I am a creative collaborator and work with my clients, teammates and builders to create innovative designs.
