Please allow me to introduce myself: My name is Dominic Dijamco. I am currently in my third year as a full time undergraduate student at the University Of Florida, School Of Architecture in the College of Design, Construction, and Planning with an anticipated graduation date of spring 2015. In conjunction with the distinguished recognized duties and responsibilities of being architecture major, I play forward, as well as defense for the University of Florida Gator Ice Hockey team. I was named to the South Eastern Conference (SEC) All-Academic Team 2013-2014.
Attached hereto, please find my résumé, describing my qualifications and credentials for your review and consideration for a 2014 summer internship. I have continually excelled and demonstrated consistent improvement. I received a 3.7 GPA in my most recent semester; and yet this semester I still sustain expansion and continued achievement.
My résumé summarizes my academics, volunteer and community service, employment and extracurricular activities. I take pride in my academic and athletic accomplishments, which I have complimented with the humble experiences of assisting those in need. I feel a strong sense of solidarity and camaraderie to my Pi Kappa Alpha brothers and Ice Hockey teammates
Looking to take the next critical step in my pursuit of the Architecture vocation, my goal is to become immersed in the practical applications of what I have learned; and, more importantly, to learn and be guided from mentors in the architecture field. I am a respectful student possessing the perseverance and diligence to observe and listen. However, I am eager and energetic to assist in any manner I am instructed, as well as offer innovative ideas. I have an exemplary history which reflects initiative, diligence, and dedication.
I respectfully request and appreciate consideration in providing me the opportunity to intern (the summer of 2014) with your architecture firm. Upon request, I will provide samples of my recent projects. I welcome the opportunity to discuss my qualifications and your needs in greater detail. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
Respectfully,
Dominic F. Dijamco
