I am an Architect with about 10 years of work experience in the field of Architecture. I have worked on multiple project types including Hospitality, Residential, Institutional, Commercial and Healthcare in India as well as in the United States. Apart from Design and Construction Documentation I have a solid foundation in all aspects of Project and Construction Management for projects of considerable complexity. I have a keen eye for Engineering Coordination and Problem Solving. I am highly skilled in the use of Revit Software and can also guide teams to utilize it as a complete Design, Construction and Project Management tool that increases the efficiency & profitability of projects. SENIOR ARCHITECT, SORG ARCHITECTS INDIA, GURGAON — APR 2013-CONTINUING

SORG Architects India in Gurgaon is part of the DC-based SORG Architects, (www.sorgandassociates.com) –an Award winning Design firm; active in the fields of Residential, Commercial and Educational Design. I worked on the Luxury High-Rise Group Housing Project at Sector 61 in Gurgaon as a Project Architect, leading Production team, working closely with Project Managers, Coordination, review of engineering drawings, exploiting Revit/BIM Models for error-free coordination at early stages of the project, training staff in Revit Software and setting up of Revit standards/ guidelines.

SENIOR ARCHITECT, HKS INDIA, GURGAON — DEC 2011-MAR2013 (1 year 4 months)

HKS India in Gurgaon is part of the Dallas-based Global giant HKS, (www.hksinc.com); the firm is renowned worldwide in the fields of Healthcare and Hospitality. I worked on DM Aster Medcity Project in Kochi, and Apollo Women’s and Children’s Hospital at Ludhiana among others. My job responsibilities were those of a Senior Architect managing the BIM team, working closely with the Medical planners, Designers, Service Consultants and the Clients to deliver Project Documentation across all stages of the project. Additional responsibilities included implementation of HKS’s stringent quality control processes.

 PROJECT ARCHITECT/ DESIGNER, RND, DURHAM, NC — MAR 2008-SEP 2011 (3 years 7 months)

A mid-sized firm based in Durham (www.rndpa.com); active in the fields of Public, Institutional, Healthcare Architecture, Renovations and Upfits. Worked for Institutional and Government clients like the Veteran’s Affairs, Duke University, UNC, Durham Regional Hospital and City of Durham. Job responsibilities here consisted of Design Conceptualization, Design Development, preparation of Construction Documents both individually and as part of teams, Revit Documentation of buildings to be renovated and complete BIM management for Greenfield and Brownfield Projects, Cost Estimation, Code Analysis and generating 3-D Rendered Views of the project for client review, project Co-ordination with Clients, MEP consultants, Vendors and Construction Administration. Significant Projects were VAMC Emergency Dept. redesign, VA Office building 15, Montessori School and Durham Bulls Stadium Renovation.
