About

Mattia Gola was born in Torino (Italy) in 1987. He developed strong interest in Art & Architecture during his travels in several Italian cities.

Mattia studied Architecture at Politecnico di Torino and received his Master of Architecture in February 2012. While studying at the University, he has had a great deal of internship experience in several professional offices, where he experienced the multiple sides of architectural profession.

He has collaborated with Raimondo Guidacci Architect in Torino to develop some ideas for a residential project in Torino and for different contest.

Currently, he is still working on several design competition and private projects, for improving his skills and cultivating his network of professional collaborations.

In all his works, the leitmotiv is bringing back simplicity in design process, with particular attention on economic and environmental sustainability. He believes in the necessity of pushing the limits of building technology – by innovating, refining and experimenting – to come up with a solution tailored for the specific situation.
